Citizen Stash’s FPOG is an indica dominant hybrid (55% Indica/45% Sativa) with a mid to high THC range. With rich genetics created by Alien Genetics, Fruity Pebbles O.G. is a cross between Green Ribbon, Granddaddy Purple, and Tahoe Alien. This strain offers a multi-faceted high, with both sativa and indica effects in play.
Aroma
The FPOG came packaged in a small, white, plastic container and included a humidity pack. Upon opening the package, the fragrant aroma of Froot Loops (or Pebbles) filled the air; with strong sugary-sweet bursts of citrus notes to follow. There were also slightly floral undertones met with a sweet and peppery herbaceous scent. The terpene content is currently not listed for this batch of FPOG; however the top four terpene’s listed are: caryophyllene (pepper/spice), terpinolene (fresh/piney/floral), limonene (citrus/fruit), and ocimene (sweet/herbaceous). Generally speaking the aroma is quite pungent, with sweet tropical fruit notes and a floral/herbaceous undercurrent.
Appearance
The buds in this batch of FPOG were small to medium in size; the nugs were dense and squishy with a thick frosting of trichomes (to say this bud shines in the light is an understatement). Beneath the thick layer of trichomes, vibrant greens and deep purple tones can be found with bright orange hairs all over (pistils) – this flower also “fluffs up” beautifully after grinding.
Flavour
Fruity Pebbles O.G. was rightly named, as the flavour is distinctly sugary sweet! On inhale the initial taste is a sweet tropical fruit explosion followed by a mild floral aftertaste; on exhale there is a lingering sweet and herbaceous flavour.
Experience
The smoke itself was very smooth, there was no throat irritation and coughing wasn’t a problem either. Although FPOG is an indica leaning hybrid technically, the effects were very well-rounded. After the initial smoke session, the high begins as an amazing sativa awakening; senses were heightened, creativity blossomed, and euphoria was in full take off. As the high developed, it gave way to waves of blissful relaxation without the “couch-lock” and sleepiness that usually accompanies a relaxed state. The high was quite strong and lasted around three hours until it was no longer noticeable; the first two hours were a wakeful/euphoric high and the last hour was a nice relaxed/chilled out high. FPOG would definitely make for a wonderful “wake ‘n bake” strain, as it gives that sativa energy right off the bat and slowly dissipates into a very chill vibe.
