Girl Scout Cookies
Born in California and hailing from the growing collective known as Cookie Fam (which includes the rapper Berner), Girl Scout Cookies shot to prominence in the early 2010's and has been much sought after ever since.
The name of this strain comes from its delicious and unique scent. You'll catch whiffs of ginger, spice, mint, and lemon coming off the dark green and purple coloured buds along with a spicy, yet often minty flavour once combusted. This smell is said to be reminiscent of the famous Girl Scout Cookies that are often sold door to door.
GSC gets its good looks and great taste from its parents, the ever-present indica OG Kush from Florida and the potent sativa Durban Poison which originated down in South Africa and which provides a lively, uplifting effect to this mainly indica-dominant hybrid.
Caryophyllene, Myrcene, & Humulene team up to provide the array of flavours and effects you will experience with GSC, with the Humulene giving that wonderful baked gingery taste, and the Caryophyllene adding that spicy edge. These two terpenes are said to provide extra benefits when found together.
